Nat has wanted to be a writer
ever since she realized, at a very young age, that it was really the only thing she could see herself getting paid to do for the rest of her life.
Beginning at age three, when her mother taught her to read in a desperate attempt to get her to sit still for two seconds, she has been driven through life by her affinity for the written word.
But, like any RPG nerd, she also loves a good side quest—and she’s got the vast and varied set of supplementary skills (social media, photography, design, video, digital ads, event organizing, people management, and much, much more) to prove it.
Nat’s career began in journalism—first as a late-night editor/desk jockey for daily newspapers, then as a lifestyle, fashion, and food writer, where she spent years interviewing some of the world’s most fascinating people about their deepest passions and eating a lot of really great free snacks.
Her standard-issue 2020 life pivot brought her into copywriting and social management full-time, turning her sensitivity for language and eye for detail toward helping brands tell their stories with authenticity, care, humor, and heart.
Back-of-the-jacket praise

She has a keen understanding of food culture, pop culture, and culture culture, along with the rare ability to translate that effectively to both people who share that knowledge and those who have no clue.”
